Today, I'm heading west to do a little one-month Canadian loop from Montreal to Calgary and back. It's exciting to get back on the road and play some of the songs from That Cold Year to some new audiences.
Things kick off tonight with an acoustic show in Toronto at The Free Times Cafe. You can check out the event on Facebook. I'll be joined by local artist Katey Morley performing her brand of beautiful folk-pop music. Tomorrow night, I'll be moving on to Guelph to do my thing at The Red Brick Cafe.
Check back frequently for updates I'll be posting while on the road. Expect a lot of anecdotes about empty, long stretches of highway, massive quantities of coffee and beer, and maybe a few strange encounters along the way.
If you live somewhere between here and Calgary, check out my tour page to find out if I'll be in your neck of the woods. I would love to see you come out, and share a few tunes and some conversation with you.
All right, I've got my coat on. Westward we go!
